Amelia reached for her cell phone before calling her mother, "h.e.l.lo Mom, yes, it's me. Um… I wanted to tell you that Brad will be visiting, and he needs to know the whole story. Ah? Yes, the complete story. It is necessary for him. Yeah, he will be travelling in a day or two… Oh, okay… Sure." She nodded her head as she rea.s.sured the person on the other end of the line before looking at Brad and Olympia.

Brad was the first one to ask, "What did she say?"

"She said that she will explain everything to you when you visit her."

"Mum, are you sure that everything is going to be fine?"

"Definitely."

"Olympia, follow me." Brad uttered before rus.h.i.+ng towards the staircase. He made a mad dash to the bedroom. He held his forehead in pain. He felt extreme pain at the s.p.a.ce in between his brows.

"What happened to you, Master?"

"I don't know." He gritted his teeth as he uttered.

"Master, tell me. I might be able to help you." Olympia said anxiously.

"Pain." Brad uttered with great difficulty.

"Let me have a look." Olympia removed the hand that he was holding his forehead with. She saw there was black matter merging with the original red-blue symbol on Brad's forehead. It seemed as if the black matter was fighting with the red and blue matters. Olympia was stunned, "What's the meaning of this? This is not good." She murmured before saying, "Master, I need to get back to the s.p.a.ce."

She did not wait for Brad to answer before she turned into a ray of light before she entered the s.p.a.ce between his brows. Brad was too concentrated on his pain to notice any anomaly.

"Deablo, Deablo, what happened to you?" When Olympia entered the s.p.a.ce she saw Deablo writhing in pain.

"What happened to you? Answer me."

Deablo slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were bloodshot. Black fog surrounded him.

"Deablo, how did you materialize? You turned like that. How did you get your body back?"

"I don't know, Olympia. I am in terrible pain. Lend me some of your powers." Olympia was too focused to notice anything abnormal.

"What will that do?"

"Don't ask too many questions." Deablo chided.

Suddenly it was a lightbulb moment for her. She realized that Deablo never called her by her name. She got up from the ground and cold light flashed through her eyes. She did not want to alarm the 'Deablo' standing in front of her. Whoever it was, was extremely dangerous to be able to enter Brad's consciousness, and disguise as Deablo.

If she didn't know Deablo enough, she would have fallen for his act. She looked warily at 'Deablo' and demanded to know, "Who are you?"

Suddenly, a deep laughter rang through the entire s.p.a.ce and a deep voice could be heard coming from 'Deablo's mouth'. "You are a smart woman. Take good care of him. He will eventually need your help. And, you need to increase your powers. Take this." 'Deablo' handed her a stone with strange-looking runes carved on it.

"Who are you?" Olympia did not take the stone, and she repeated her initial question.

"I am an insignificant n.o.body." Pain and hurt laced his aged voice.

Olympia's heart moved at his sentence. She was going to say something, when she heard him say, "Don't pity me. I got what I deserve. I deserve to be deserted."

'Deablo' put on a smiling face and said, "I won't harm you. Take it."

Olympia accepted it and turned it over and over in her hand before examining it curiously. After a long time, she asked, "How does this work?"

"You will feel it when the time comes. You are supposed to go somewhere, right? When you reach there and increase your powers, keep this stone with you. It will guide you."

"Okay." Olympia nodded her head. She felt no malicious intentions from this person, whoever he was.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Can you cure Deablo?"

"No. I can lend him some powers, but you need to take him to that place to cure him completely."

Olympia nodded her head but worry laced her face again. "What happened to Master?"
