Xia Yao shivered, his expression freezing over.

Yuan Zong slowly lifted his eyes, silently watched Xia Yao. His face was a mixture of happiness, solemness, and gentleness.

All the distress, annoyance, and embarrassment left Yuan Zong slowly. All that was left was pure gratitude expressed towards Xia Yao. It was Yuan Zong's most simple and sincere feelings for this man, his deep care.

Xia Yao had initially thought that Yuan Zong Would scowl him, that this man in front of him would say something like: "I don't want you to do that", "You should never have lied to me".
