104 Chapter 83

Why the war waiting for. the bus to take them into the city, Annabeth had decided to take out a book for herself to read, seeing as the bus that Chiron had sent for them is already very late.

But something happened that made her yelp and drop the bag.

Annabeth- "Aah! oh my G.o.ds!

Percy looked at her quite startled.

Percy- "What happened?"

Annabeth- "There is something in my bag!"

She grabbed her dagger and slowly but cautiously, went to open it fully,

Annabeth-"a rodent? what's a rodent doing in my back pack?!"

The "Rodent" looked at her with an indinant frown and gave off a sqeak, his tone sounded like he was offended before trotting over to Percy who looked very surprised

Percy- "That's not a rodent, that's a arctedcher wolf one of the most beatiful wolves in the world although I never seen one in person before"

He went to pick it up but paused once he noticed the stare

Percy- "What?"

Annabeth- "That was... surprisingly intelligent coming from you."

Percy- "hey, I can be smart!"

Annabeth shook her head before going to pick up her things, by the time she was done the bus had arrived.

She looked at Percy and saw him pick me up and put him on his shoulder, she had immediately inferred that he intended to bring the..."wolf" with him.

Annabeth- "Your not really thinking about taking it with us are you?"

Percy shrugged.

Percy- "Why not?"

Annabeth- "It could be someone else's pet plus we don't know where that had been"

Percy- "In your bag for one, plus don't see the problem, it's not like we have the time to find the owner so we might as well take it with us."

Annabeth huffed.

Annabeth- "Humph fine then."

....

A couple moments later, we were all sitting inside the bus, Annabeth noticed Grover seemed more anxious than usual.

Annabeth- "Hey Grover, are you alright?"

Grover answered her but I could here the tensiness in his voice.

Grover- "don't know...he gulped "maybe its nothing."

That did not reasure the demiG.o.ds at all, their eyes hardened preparing for the inevitable, while my eyes slowly narrowed.

So... it's time.

A small smirk made it's way onto my furry face, though it went unnoticed.

This will certainly be interesting.
