2 Good Parents

Like any other toddlers, he's playing, laughing, eating, peeing, p.o.o.ping, and other things that what other toddlers can do.

He's not that big nor strong.

He's not that handsome, but he's cute.

(We're all cute when we were child. You can ask your parents if you don't believe it.)

He's also one out of twenty children who's stammering when he talks. It's not common but it's not rare as well. He repeats some of his syllables, and may sound funny when he talks.

His family lives in a small house build by his father from scratch. Because the house that his father inherited is now scattered by the wind. Yes, it became ashes before he was born and today is the 4th death anniversary of that house. Until now, his father sighs when he recalled that tragedy but whenever his father hears his voice, he changes his frowns to smiles.

They can be considered poor, but they don't lack anything needed to survive. Their family of 3 can eat, sleep, and live happily inside the small house without problem.

Boy's father is very responsible. He stocked food and grains before the winter came.

He sowed all of these on his farm which is previously the forest burnt by the forest fire, tidied by the avalanche and cleaned by the tornado.

The field was like a gift from G.o.d, prepared in a natural way but very unnatural to think that it was actually prepared in that way. The soil is very suitable for farming, the picturesque landscape of this field is actually stunning like a small paradise fell from the sky. If this sight will be discovered by tourist, it is possible to rank on top 10 tourists spots.

Inside the house, the family is eating rice with vegetable dishes. Demitri the father of Boy is talking with his wife Tychee "Boy needs to go to pre-school next year when the school year starts, I'm already prepared for this but do you think our son is ready for this? He never left our place before, he never went down to see what the city looked like." Demitri said.

"Time really flies so fast, if only I can carry and take care of him forever. I will always cherish him. But, let's face it. He will one day go outside on his own, live on his own, and make his own family. Let's just do what we need to do and give him the best that we could." Tychee replied.

Boy is still innocent and did not know what his parents were talking about.

He only heard pre-school, outside their place, and the city. His curiosity is the same with most of the children. "Mama, Papa, wha... what's pre-school?" asked by Boy.

His parents looked at each other and nodded, "Boy, it's where you can learn more things and you will have fun meeting other children like you. You can have friends and play with them!" her mother answered. "Yes, there's so many things that you don't know yet and you will surely like it!" added by his father.

"Re-really? There's a place like that? I want to go there! Let's go there together!" Boy shouted with glee.

His parents frowned and told him, "It's for little children only so we can only bring you there but we can't accompany you inside. Don't worry, we've been there already when we were little. Right Papa?" Tychee blinked to her husband.

"Yes, we've been there already. So it will be your turn soon. I will take you to the city tomorrow because it's your Birthday!" Demitri smiled and promised to show the city to Boy on his Birthday.

"Th-Thank you Mama & Papa!" Boy hugged his parents and they continued to eat.

When the night grew darker, they we're all asleep already.
