The servants at home too had known about the thing last night. Seeing the two coming in so grandiosely, each of them looked down and held their breaths.

This was really the show of the century!

The young master and miss were actually married for five years in concealment. Even the Madam did not know it!

“She’s tired,” Huo Yunting just said nonchalantly as he carried her to the sofa. “Grandma, why did you call us back?”

Madam was so p.i.s.sed off that she could barely speak and as she look at Lu Zhaoyang’s side profile, she was reminded of Xue Yuming.

This mother-daughter pair sure is something. How they played the men of the Huo family so easily in their palms.

“Show me your marriage certificate! I may be old but I am still aware of the tricks you young people are pulling. Did you find someone to fake that cert?”

She had watched that shocking marriage proposal video many times!

Lu Zhaoyang struggled a little but he still hugged her tight. She knew that Huo Yunting was protecting her.

But she could not forever be hiding behind his back like this.

Huo Yunting gave her a ‘calm down, I got this’ look, before sliding his hand into his suit and pulling two red books out of his pocket.

Lu Zhaoyang was surprised. He actually brought the marriage certificates over!

Madam grabbed it from him and flipped about looking for anything that’s amiss but everytime she saw them smiling happily, it hurt her eyes.

She then violently threw the certs onto Huo Yunting.

He simply just picked them up and put into his suit pocket. “Grandma, I would still need you to make an appearance during the wedding. Don’t be so unhappy. If you insist on keeping on like this, I probably have to not invite you just to keep you from being unhappy.”

There was a tinge of regret in his voice but hidden were words that was a razor sharp warning that if the Madam insisted on a throwing tantrum, she can forget about attending.

“Wedding? You still want to do a wedding? Haven’t you married already? How long do you still want to drag this farce on!”

Madam’s face turned from black to red as she smashed her walking stick against the ground.

“So you mean you’re disagreeing with it? Then I can only say I cannot do that. After so many years, I can do longer do Lu Zhaoyang wrong any longer.” Huo Yunting look down and his handsome eyes laid on her.

“So, whether you agree to it or not, the wedding will happen.”

Madam took in a deep breath but her shoulders suddenly sank. Now, her usual imposing vigor and stature was gone.

Her temper and a.s.sertiveness had been totally worn out by Huo Yunting’s determination.

“You really like her?”

“No, I love her.” Huo Yunting responded without any hesitation before smirking, “Grandma, me coming back this time around was just to inform you of that.”

The Madam clutched her chest and looked down slightly.

“Huo Zhenning! Won’t you bother about your son!” After running out of recourse, she could only s.h.i.+ft her sight to her eldest son who had been keeping quiet.

Huo Zhenning had no intention to bother, nor he had any capability to do so. So he only asked, just for show, “Yunting, with your position now, you really don’t care how the outside world perceives you?”

Huo Yunting broke into a laughing fit, “I had already revealed everything yesterday, so what’s the point of how people look and perceives me? Not bothered.”

Lu Zhaoyang, while still nervous, remembered what he said earlier. Keep quiet, he will handle this.
