Just as the soldiers were preparing to rush out of the city and fight the devils to the end, an elegant figure came and landed on the city wall. Upon seeing the ident.i.ty of the other party, the whole city knelt down in respect.

“Paying respects to the lord of White Tiger City!”

The person who had come to the city was none other than Yan Yu, the city lord of White Tiger City, one of the four main cities in the Barren Land.

It was known to everyone all over the Barren Land that the city lords of Azure Dragon City, White

Tiger City, Qilin City, and Black Tortoise City, these four main cities, were like brothers to their demon lord. They were loyal friends who had accompanied the lord to conquer the mainland. Therefore, they had extremely high respect and admiration for Yan Yu and the others.

Yan Yu smiled gently and looked at the soldiers ready to go. He raised his hand slowly and said,

“Are you going out of the city?” Yan Yu looked at the soldiers who had gathered at the city gate.

The city lord got up and replied, “Please forgive me, city lord. We can't just watch our allies in

danger.” Guarding the city was their duty and retreating to safety was their plan, but this did not mean they would leave the comrades who were risking their lives fighting the enemies.

Yan Yu smiled with satisfaction, “Do you know who is on the battlefield?”

The city lord shook his head. He was very surprised and wondered why the city lord of White Tiger City, who should be sitting in

the rear, had appeared here.

“That is the demon lord and the city lords of several other main cities.” Yan Yu did not hide

anything.

“Pardon?” Everyone froze in an instant.
