52. The White Hea.r.s.e Vision White, Hea.r.s.e, Women, Pa.s.senger I saw a white hea.r.s.e with John (one of my congregation members) in the pa.s.senger seat. Someone else was driving, and there were two women in the back seat.

Interpretation: The white hea.r.s.e symbolizes the burial of an offense (see Hea.r.s.e). The offense is identified by the two women in the back seat. One woman symbolizes an issue concerning John's estranged wife, and the other the church at which John experienced betrayal by the pastor in a marriage counseling session (see Woman).

53. Foreign Invasion Dream Foreign, Army, Invading, Rock, Sea, Rifle, Sand, Cave, Candles, Orange, Mel, Dune Buggy, Roof, Wall A foreign army was invading, and I saw them at the base of a huge rock that went down into the sea. I and others were positioned somewhere higher on the rock looking down at their landing. I ran to get rifles and ammunition to shoot at them.

To do so, I had to crawl through the entrance of a narrow sandy cave about one foot high. There was something like a dozen orange candles on the base of this sandy entrance which led down deeper into the cave where it opened up. The candles were all at different stages of dying out. The majority were just wax mounds where once there had stood a candle.

At this point in the dream I had the revelation that it was only a dream, and yet the scene was so vivid and real, I could practically smell the wax and cool sand. Down beyond the entrance were two peoplea"my compatriotsa"one male, one female. The entrance was so narrow I thought that the roof could collapse on me at any minute and I would die here. I realized that it did not matter if I died here because if I didn't get through I would die anyway when the enemy overran the place. I realized that I must not give up and that there was something greater at stake here.

I made my way through the narrow entrance and down into the cave where the male person, who reminded me of actor Mel Gibson took me through a different exit to a powerful dune buggy type vehicle, and we went and got the arms we were after.

In the next scene, we had the arms (rifles and ammunition), and were on our way back, and I was conscious that the enemy was infiltrating. Mel showed me on a map how he had worked out to get us back to the hotspot. He, as the driver, was going to jump the car onto the roof of a fortress type structure and again jump it onto the top of a wall that ran toward where we needed to go. It looked pretty spectacular and exciting, but I was confident in his ability to get us to the hotspot. I was also aware that we would be shot at on the way.

Interpretation: The invasion speaks about the infiltration and subtle influence of technology, which is leading the Church away and captive (addicted) to entertainment.

The cave speaks about the Church hiding (see Cave); this is the female deep in the cave (see Woman). The narrow sandy entrance says two things. Firstly, it says that the way is going to be under pressure. Secondly, it says that the Church is for the most part merely toying with the Word of G.o.d (see Matt. 7:26) (see Narrow). The orange candles are a warning about the state of the Church and its fading apostolic mandate (see Matt. 28:19-20). We, the Western Church, are being drawn into a flesh-comforting entertainment-rich lifestyle and, as a consequence, have become spectators. We expect people to come to us instead of going out carrying the message we have been given.

The fear of death I experienced on crawling through this narrow opening represents the fear of ridicule I feel I will experience for sharing this revelation. The realization that something greater is at stake says that I will proceed with this because I realize the Church is in jeopardy. The awareness that what I was experiencing was a dream and yet it appeared so real says that even though it was just a dream it is a certain spiritual reality.

Mel means "chief," and therefore, Mel Gibson in this dream represents Jesus Christ, who has been taken into hiding by the Church (see Woman and Chief).

The dune buggy symbolizes a powerful ministry (see Dune Buggy) driven by Jesus Christ, who will carry this message onto a preaching platform (see Roof) and over the obstacles and barriers (walls) that would otherwise prevent it (see Walls). The rifles are willing hearts (launching pads) for words, and the munitions are those words (see Bullets).

Being shot at speaks of "friendly fire" from people within the Church for carrying this message.

54. New House and Goldie Dream New Home, Gold, Five, Identification I came home to a new home. The house was bigger than usual and everything was like new inside. As I went in, I saw Goldie was inside.

She said, "It's only me; it's not a burglar or anything." Goldie was going through my things, picking out five things that identified me.

She had a photo and a hat and three other things.

Interpretation: The new house is the promise of spiritual growth and fulfilment (see House and New).

The name Goldie means "a precious yellow metal" (see Goldie in Name and Place Dictionary). It represents money and relates to your spiritual growth and the prosperity that is a.s.sociated with it. This is a warning from G.o.d that when you come into your spiritual inheritance to beware of money's subtle power to steal away who you are in Christ (your ident.i.ty). In the dream, Goldie says, "It's only me; it's not a burglar. . .." This is a mark of the apparent friendship between you and her. However, she (money) is stealing your ident.i.ty in Christ. She is attempting to take the grace and favor of G.o.d which identifies you (see Five). Beware, you cannot afford to lose who you are in Christ. Jesus says that you can gain the whole world and lose your soul (see Matt. 16:26). This is the danger here (see Deut. 8:7-11, 18).

55. Climbing out of Window Dream Storm, Window, Upstairs, Roof, North I knew that a really high wind storm was coming. I told my husband, and he tried to see it out the window.

In the next scene, we were upstairs, and he said, "I'll have a look." My husband stepped straight through the window and onto the roof and walked easily to the gutter and looked north to view the approaching storm. I was looking at his feet, thinking he wouldn't normally do that, because a person would be cautious on the roof, but he stepped out confidently, like it wasn't an issue.

Interpretation: A wind storm coming from the north is indicative of the pending judgment of G.o.d (see North and Storm). Taking a look speaks of prophetic insight (see Lookout). Going upstairs represents going into the Presence of G.o.d (see Upstairs).

Stepping through the window says that your husband is stepping into the prophetic promises of G.o.d (see Stepping). He is going beyond merely seeing and is moving into place (see John 3:3-5). Confidently walking on the roof represents moving in faith on a preaching platform, and it appears part of his message may be judgment (see Roof).

56. Skateboard Dream Skateboard, Tricks, Wheels, New I was on a skateboard, and as I was riding it, I was doing some tricks.

The tricks were basically kicking the back of the board to get it to slide out. I picked up the board when I had finished, and there was another young person with me. I looked at my wheels, and they were all worn out. His wheels were brand new.

Interpretation: The skateboard speaks of youth ministry (see Skateboard). Doing tricks represents moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see Trick). Wheels are representative of your spirit; having worn-out wheels means that you are not replenishing yourself in G.o.d after ministering (see Wheel). Seeing his wheels are brand new says that the other person is spending time with G.o.d to renew his spirit (see Isa. 40:30-31).

57. Looking at Mushrooms Dream Table, Jamie, Right, Mushrooms I walked up to a table. Jamie, an old friend, was with me on my right.

I looked down on the table, and there were a.s.sorted mushrooms on the table. I had to choose the one I wanted.

Interpretation: The table is the decision-making process, and choosing the mushroom says that you are allowing the decision-makers to keep you in the dark (see Table and Mushroom).

Jamie on the right means that the flesh is in control and, therefore, you are not seeing what is going on spiritually (see Jamie in Name and Place Dictionary). Like Jacob, you need to wrestle with G.o.d for His promises and not rely on people or ministries for your promotion in G.o.d (see Gen. 32:22-32).

58. The Flying Bus Dream Flying, Bus, b.u.t.terfly, Carolyn, Seat, Coat, Cold, View, Coastline, Home I was on board a flying bus called "The b.u.t.terfly." Carolyn said the ride wasn't the best (she had been on it before). I thought it was great! Inside was bigger than a normal bus, more like a 747 interior. We were coming back from a day trip.

I moved seats to be with someone else. I left my coat in the other seat. It was a little cold, but OK. I was concerned that perhaps my other seat would rob someone of a seat (that it wouldn't be filled).

We didn't realize that the bus flew until we started to see from the air. There was a great view along a coastline. We were free of traffic, and there were great views. We were relaxed and having fun on our way home.

Interpretation: The b.u.t.terfly speaks of a ministry in the Spirit (see b.u.t.terfly). The b.u.t.terfly is contrasted with the earth-bound caterpillar as being free from limitations.

Carolyn means "woman" (see Carolyn in Name and Place Dictionary). In this situation, it is a reference to a woman in your life who is not comfortable walking by faith (in the Spirit). A day trip is a reference to ministry in Christ (see Day).

Moving seats is a change of role and authority (see Sitting). This is reinforced by the fact that you left your coat in the other seat (see Coat). It appears that in changing roles you are concerned that your former position be filled. The slight cold you felt seems to indicate a cold reception of the decision to change roles (see Cold).

Seeing from the air refers to being in the Spirit and moving in the prophetic (see Seeing). The coastline is the border between the spiritual and natural realms (the boundary of faith) (see Coastline).

Being free of traffic refers to being free of the commercial systems of people. Being relaxed on your way home refers to making your way to Heaven (see Home), and not being caught up in traffic is a reference to being free of political or religious compet.i.tion.

59. Water Flying Over Keyboard Vision Water, Flying, Computer I saw water flying in slow motion over my laptop.

Interpretation: The water flying over the keyboard speaks of an anointing over what you are writing (see Water and Computer). It is moving in slow motion because what is being written is taking time to come together (see Slow Motion).

60. Screws in Head and Cheek Son, Screws, Head, Cheek My son had a screw in his head and one in his cheek. I offered to take them out with a battery-powered drill I held in my hand. He wouldn't let me. He came back a while later and said, "I got them out myself."

Interpretation: The screws represent strongholds (see Screw). This dream shows that your son has two strongholds; one is a mental att.i.tude, and the other is cheekiness.

His refusal to allow you to take them out indicates that he needs to be instrumental in removing them. Though he currently needs to deal with these two areas, it appears in the right environment that he will. The battery-powered drill in your hand symbolizes the Holy Spirit in your heart (see Battery and Hands). Don't push the issue to force their extraction. Keep doing what you are doing, and G.o.d will lead him to deal with them.

61. Tennis Player Smuggling Cheese Dream Cheese, Smuggling, Television, Law I dreamed that a prominent woman tennis player was caught smuggling cheese. I could see the shape of the cheese; it looked like mozzarella. The tennis player was in a lot of trouble because of the smuggling offense. It seemed a silly law, but it was the law, and there were serious consequences.

Interpretation: (Asked about her relationship with tennis, the dreamer revealed that she used to play compet.i.tion tennis and that more recently she had spent a fair amount of time watching the Australian Open on television.) With this information, it appears that G.o.d is showing that you are having your Christian maturity (cheese), or opportunity for Christian maturity, stolen or smuggled from you by television watching, as evidenced by your television watching of this event (see Cheese).

Though the television watching seems harmless (silly), it will have spiritual ramifications. This is a serious warning that if this continues, it will lead to problems because the call upon your life is going to require considerable Christian maturity.

62. Shower of Gold Dream Gold, Shower In my dream, I saw a shower (like a rain shower), but it was of gold particles.

Interpretation: As this dream was experienced by a Bible teacher (its context), it is likely to be about an outpouring of powerful teaching (see Shower and Gold).

63. Wife Holding Calculator Dream Calculator, Dad, Wife I saw my wife holding a calculator because her dad was not there.

Interpretation: This dream suggests that the wife is concerned about her financial security instead of trusting G.o.d (her true Father) for her security (see Calculator and Father).

64. Three Long-Sleeve T-Shirts Dream Clothes, Blue, Grey, Famous Person, Reporter, Mother-in-Law I had been given three long-sleeve T-shirts in different colors: dark blue, grey, and light blue. Each shirt had been written on by the hand of someone famous.

A female reporter was at my home looking at two of the shirts and transcribing some of the writings. My wife's mother had called in the reporter.

Interpretation: The long-sleeved T-shirts represent ministry roles. The various colors say that the three shirts are three roles (see Clothing). It could be that this is past, present, and future. Light blue speaks about your spirit, grey about a period of uncertainty, and the dark blue a ministry in the Holy Spirit (see Blue and Grey).

The famous person is Christ (see Famous Person). I believe that those who are written on are pillar-like ministries within the Church (see Rev. 3:12).

This suggests that G.o.d is calling you to an apostolic role and that your work will become part of church history (the reporter commissioned by your mother-in-law) (see Reporter and Mother-in-Law).

65. Supermarket with no Meat Dream Supermarket, Meat, Box, Backdoor, Vacuum Cleaner I went into a supermarket with a group of people. I couldn't find much of a selection of meat. Instead of coming out the front door, I went around the back and climbed over boxes. Three vacuum cleaner boxes fell down in the warehouse.

Interpretation: The supermarket represents a commercial church (see Shop). The lack of meat means that there is a scarcity of Bible truth being preached (see Heb. 5:12-14) (see Meat). Not going out the front door possibly suggests that you are leaving this church unofficially (see Backdoor). The three vacuum cleaner boxes say that the fullness of the Spirit has been denied and also explains the lack of solid Bible teaching (see Vacuum Cleaner, Box, and Three).

66. Friend Chris Sinking in Sand Dream Sand My friend Chris was at the beach up to his waist in sand.

Interpretation: In the context in which it was given, this dream suggests that Chris (a recent convert), is sinking back into the world after his conversion because he has no foundation in the Word of G.o.d (see Sand).

67. Swapping Sungla.s.ses Dream Sungla.s.ses, Kym In my dream, my friend Kym swapped sungla.s.ses with me. He gave me his sungla.s.ses, and then in return, I gave him my own.

Interpretation: This dream says that you will be given Christ's perspective, and in return, you surrender your own. Kym is Christ because Kym means "chief" or "ruler" (see Sungla.s.ses; see Kym in Name and Place Dictionary).

68. Fox Dream Fox, Field I saw a fox leaving a field.

Interpretation: The fox represents a political person or spirit who is harming the sheep (by tearing them apart) leaving a congregation (see Fox and Field). This is a good dream as it says that a divisive person is leaving the church.

69. Five Computer Disks Dream Five, Computer CD I had a set of computer files on five disks (I felt like I have had this dream before). I kept them in that group because I didn't understand them; they were too hard. I discussed this with someone. I looked through them again; they still seemed a puzzle. I didn't understand them.

Interpretation: This dream seems to refer to your thoughts about the grace of G.o.d given through faith. Five is the number of grace and favor of G.o.d (see Five). That grace and favor is accessed by faith.

The CDs represent your thoughts (see Computer CD). What this says is that you find it hard to understand salvation through grace rather than works. It may be that you have had this dream before or more likely that you have been asked to walk by faith in G.o.d's grace before and found it equally discomforting. You may have previously felt that you have earned your right for approval by G.o.d.

70. Sleeping Baby Dream Bench, Baby, Sleep, Pram, Heavy, Bed, Table, Sheet, Center We were, as a family, sitting on a bench in front of a building. I was holding a baby, and the baby went to sleep. As we didn't have a pram with us, and I thought the baby would get heavy, we went to some friends' place to see if we could lay the baby on a bed.

Their house had only one room with the bed in the center. The table was in the corner. They had been decorating, but had not finished yet. I lay the baby on the bed. Then I noticed a few marks on the sheet, so I was careful where I lay the baby. I gently pulled the quilt around the baby.

Interpretation: Sitting on a bench as a family speaks of unity in your relationship. The bench refers to being on the sidelines or awaiting ministry (see Bench). Being in front of a building refers to a time before the establishment of your promise. The baby is that promise of G.o.d (see Baby). The fact that it is asleep means that it is resting and being strengthened in private before it awakens to a public life (see Sleeping).

The heaviness refers to the weight of expectancy/responsibility and going to your friend's home suggests that you want to share your promise with them (see Heavy). A pram is a ministry to carry a promise, and the absence of a pram means that you do not currently have a public ministry that can carry the promise for you (see Pram).

A one-roomed house points to the fact that your friends are perhaps undeveloped spiritually (see House). Your desire to put the baby in their bed talks of a desire to share your promise with them and for there to be an agreement or alignment with them (see Bed).

The bed in the center speaks of thoughts or the flesh running the home, and the table in the corner says that their communion with you is not central or on the same wavelength (see Table). It also says that Christ is not truly central in this home. This is perhaps reinforced by them decorating, which may say that they are into superficial things.

The marks on the sheets speak of wrong thoughts toward the revealing of the promise (see Sheet). When your friends say something that showed they weren't at your faith level, you closed in to protect the promise. Pulling the quilt around the baby says you chose to protect the promise.

71. Tracksuit Pants White, Stripe, Tracksuit Pants I was wearing a white pair of tracksuit pants with a red stripe down the side.

Interpretation: This suggests that you have come into a righteous walk because you have been purified by Christ's blood (see Legs, White, and Stripes). It also speaks of strength, grace, and boldness in your walk of faith.

72. Spiders Crawled Behind the Desk Dream Desk, Spiders I went into a room with someone to do some work at a desk. As we approached the desk, black spiders of various sizes went scurrying for cover behind the desk. I thought first to spray them with insect killer spray, but then realized if I did that they would crawl back out again and that would present a greater threat than if I left them alone until I was leaving the room. When I left, I could leave a spider bomb (a can of insect killer that empties itself, killing all the spiders over a period of an hour or two).

Interpretation: This dream speaks of a desire not to confront issues (the spiders) with a student (suggested by the desk) because of the threat that it would raise (see Spider and Desk). It also says that you would prefer to leave the need to deal with threatening issues till later.

This dream is a correction for you not to hesitate about dealing with issues. You are going to have to confront issues as they come up in the future.

73. Playing Lead Guitar With Brian Dream Guitar, Brian, Angel I was playing lead guitar with a competent guitarist named Brian. I was playing way beyond my own ability and at the same time singing the song, "Heaven must be missing an angel."

Interpretation: Brian means "hill" or "strength" and is a picture of the Holy Spirit because He is the source of our strength (see Eph. 3:16) (see Brian in Name and Place Dictionary).

As angels worship in the Presence of G.o.d, and you were playing guitar singing about angels on earth, the dream is suggestive that you will lead people into true worship (see Angel).

74. Tire Tracks on a Wet Field Vision Water, Automobile, Field, Tire Tracks, Color I saw four sets of different colored tire tracks in a wet field.

Interpretation: This is a retake of the parable of the sower and the seed (see Matt. 13:3-9, 18-23). The wet field is a picture of the Word of G.o.d being preached (see Water) in the world (see Field).

The different color tire tracks represent the individual responses to that Word (see Automobile). This is a reminder that not everyone will respond the same way. There will be heart issues that stop the Word from truly being rooted in a person's heart, and there likewise will be people who are distracted by the cares of the world. These issues will stop the Word of G.o.d from having full impact in the life of the individuals to whom you are ministering.

Your job is to preach the Word, and the hearers will choose their own paths and thus declare in their actions whether they are true or false believers.

75. Last Person on a Bus Bus, Country Town, Related I was on a bus to a country town. While travelling, I related with and was friendly to people on the bus. Everyone got off the bus progressively until I was the last person on the bus. I had the understanding that those who were getting off were catching connecting buses to other destinations.

Interpretation: The country-bound bus is a country church you are currently attending (see Bus). In this dream, G.o.d is preparing you for His timing in coming to where He wants you. He is directing you not to look at others because what He has for them is different than what He has for you. It appears you will be in the place where you may become frustrated or anxious when it appears others are being fulfilled and you are not. That is because G.o.d has a special a.s.signment for you.

I would recommend that you meditate on Christ's 30 years of preparation, John the Baptist's years in the desert, and Joseph's confinement in Egypt. The degree to which G.o.d wants to use you is displayed proportionally in the number of years of preparation you have to undergo to get there (see Isa. 49:2).

76. Preaching Platform in Car Park Vision Car Park, Platform I saw a preaching platform with a handrail on the up-ramp to a several story car park.

Interpretation: This vision says that you will have an invitation to preach in churches that are filled with people who are going nowhere spiritually (see Platform and Car Park). Parked ministries have no destiny in G.o.d.

77. Baldness Dream Baldness I was looking at my head and face from the front and saw that I had lost a lot more hair than I had previously noticed. There was hardly any hair on the top of my head, and I had this mane along my back neckline. I was initially surprised and yet settled that this was how things were.

Interpretation: I believe this a sign of the humbling of G.o.d and the cutting away of the flesh that you are currently undergoing (see Baldness).

78. Trucks Over the Railway Tracks Dream Train Tracks, Truck, Earthmover I saw several train tracksa"perhaps a dozena"as you would see in a rail yard, and there were trucks and earthmovers driving over the tracks, damaging the tracks.

Interpretation: What you are seeing is leadership being insensitive to the plans and purposes of G.o.d (see Truck and Railway Tracks). It appears those in leadership (in this situation, the husband of the dreamer) are working at cross-purposes to the things of G.o.d. Earthmoving signifies working in the flesh.

79. New Cell Phone Dream Dad, Three, Cell Phone, Code, Sim Card, Collingwood, MP3 Tunes, Recharge My dad and I went to a mobile phone shop. They polished and fixed my scratched cell phone. I received a code and a new sim card for the phone. They also gave me a Collingwood (Australian football team, they are black and white and also known as the Magpies) phone cover. They copied dad's MP3 tunes and also gave me several games and a $30 recharge. (A 9-year-old boy had this dream.) Interpretation: Dad represents G.o.d (see Father). The three phone shop signifies fullness of communication with G.o.d (see Three and Telephone). Fixing or repairing a scratched cell phone refers to renewing one's spirit or correcting your prayer life. This is reinforced by the issuing of a new sim card, which is the heart of the phone (see Sim Card) with the ability of praying in the Holy Spirit. Praying in the Spirit is a direct line to the Father. The code refers to unlocking mysteries through praying in the Spirit (see Code).

The Collingwood phone cover is reference to being clothed as a hero. The tunes are worship songs from the heart of G.o.d, and the games are the gifts of the Spirit. The $30 recharge is showing this will happen at the right time (see Thirty). G.o.d is rea.s.suring the parent that there will be a point of time when the son will be baptized in the Spirit and used of G.o.d.

80. Eaten by the Devil Dream Eating, Devil In my dream, I was eaten by the devil Interpretation: The teenage girl who had this dream was about to have her weekend off after four months at a live-in Christian rehabilitation program, traveling 500 kilometers to stay with her parents.

The interpretation of this dream is best seen in the following Scripture, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).

This Scripture depicts the devil as a lion roaring causing the fearful to run so that he may devour them. If you read the context of this Scripture (see 1 Pet. 5:5-9), you discover that this advice is given in reference to young-old relationships. Therefore, the dream is a warning from G.o.d that the devil is going to threaten and try to provoke you, the teenager, in an attempt to get you to go into the flesh at home with your parents when you are on leave from the rehab program. There is probably an existing rift in the parent-child relationship that the devil is going to play on.

The solution in this situation is to maintain humility, which is also provided in these Scriptures (see 1 Pet. 5:5). Remember that we do not battle against flesh and blood (see Eph. 6:12). The devil always tries to get us to go into the flesh by reacting when provoked. It is important to understand that love and humility are the solid foundations for conducting spiritual warfare. By staying in the Spirit, clothed in the armor of G.o.d (see Eph. 6:11-18), a person resists the devil and he will flee.

81. Shooting at Clock Dream Shooting, Clock, Shane, House, Bullets, Paneled Wall, Evidence, Closing Blind, Kissing Someone was shooting at a clock. Shane and I were inside the house. The bullets were hitting the wood-paneled wall. We were trying to work out why he was shooting at the clock. It came to us that it was because the clock contained evidence. We pulled the blind down so that whoever it was doing the shooting was not able to destroy it. I kissed Shane.
