Chapter 916: One Versus Three

Furball had seemingly gone crazy! He had rushed off to the side, moving so quickly that even Xia Fei could not catch up!

"Furball!" Xia Fei shouted. Alas, it was as if Furball could not hear him. With a *whoosh*, he disappeared into the darkness of space.

Xia Fei was dumbstruck, Little Goldie dumbly stared in the direction that Furball had disappeared, and Radix's jaw dropped!

Nobody understood why Furball had suddenly and so freely left at this crucial moment of the battle, leaving without saying a word!

At this moment, Xia Fei was very close to the Dark lifeforms, and one part of this monstrous horde had split off to stop Xia Fei while the other part continued to pursue that mysterious light.

Xia Fei began to get very worried. He really wanted to see what had happened to Furball, but the situation did not permit him to. This was because a dense mass of Dark lifeforms, more than thirty thousand of them in fact, had surrounded Little Goldie!

Xia Fei had an outstanding speed and could easily throw off the enemy pursuit, but Little Goldie could not. It was a demon chrysalis, the king of Dark Space, but once it went from Dark Space to conventional space, its power would be greatly reduced.

"Peacock Blue!" Xia Fei roared, and the weed shot through space! Using its six long blades of grass, it swept through these pitch-black monsters!

The Blood Crystal got to work! Under the control of the Bloodscale Wisdomtail, the fiendish knife became like some fanged beast, slaughtering its way into the enemy formation! Wherever it went, the Dark lifeforms would be drained until only dregs remained!

This was Xia Fei's first time using the Bloodscale Wisdomtail to control the Blood Crystal, and he realized that when the Blood Crystal began to fly, its power was much greater than before.

The Bloodscale Wisdomtail could be considered miraculous. Not only could it allow the Blood Crystal to fly far away from Xia Fei, he could even feel that the dagger was in his hand. It moved quickly, the control was flexible, and the attack range was practically endless!

Little Goldie panicked, as numerous Dark lifeforms were crawling on its back and biting it. The demon chrysalis had a massive body, and these Dark lifeforms were like ants crawling all over it. Xia Fei suddenly accelerated, instantly getting onto Little Goldie's back and using Peacock Blue to wipe out all these foes!

The Blood Crystal was the vanguard, taking the front, while Xia Fei and Peacock Blue were the street sweepers, removing any force left behind!

Xia Fei furrowed his brows. Furball and the mysterious light had gone off in two completely different directions. If Xia Fei wanted to find Furball, he would have to give up on the pursuit of the golden light! What should he do?!

Gritting his teeth, Xia Fei decided to go and find Furball. No matter what that mysterious light was, it could not compare to Furball, for Furball was not just Xia Fei's personal exotic beast. He was also his friend!

Just as Xia Fei was about to turn around and accelerate, massive ripples pulsed through the fabric of space, sweeping through the river of stars, and then a mournful howl could be heard!

Each end of their long bodies had a head with saw-like teeth!

It appeared that they had not expected to run into Xia Fei here. The three strange earthworms froze for a moment, and then they rushed forward with a grunt!

Their bodies bent into U-shapes, their heads taking the fore, their mouths opening as if they were readying some powerful long-range attack!

"Dodge!"

Xia Fei predicted that something would come out of their mouths, so he shouted and pushed Little Goldie with all his strength.

Little Goldie was young but not stupid. It knew that Xia Fei was worried that the enemy attack would be harmful and he wanted it to create some distance, so it hastily rushed forward. With this single evasive maneuver, it traveled several hundred kilometers.

*Whoosh~*

As Little Goldie dodged, the enemy attack arrived!

Six black balls of energy like giant planets appeared. When they were still very far away from Xia Fei and Little Goldie, they suddenly constricted as if they had been flattened!

A second later, the six balls of energy exploded!
