: Refund

Anyone with the experience of returning clothes would know that it was impossible to get a refund on them once their tags had been cut off.

It would be no wonder if Qiao Nan had really done that. If Qiao Nan had cut off the tags and washed them before returning them to Qiao Zijin, it would not only show that Qiao Nan did not accept Qiao Zijin’s kindness, but it would also mean that those clothes would be useless once they received them. Unless they had other children in the family, that pile of clothes would become rubbish.

As such, Ding Jiayi wanted to thank the heavens when she saw that the clothes had been returned perfectly fine with their tags intact and had no signs of being washed before. She had to thank Qiao Nan for being slightly humane despite having such an evil heart.

If Qiao Nan had done what she had predicted, she would definitely lambast Qiao Nan to death and demand her to pay Zijin ten times what she had lost unless Qiao Nan never showed up in front of her ever again.

Having been used to being pampered like that, Qiao Zijin did not have any experience in getting refunds. As such, she was afraid of facing such a situation and of being looked down on by the salespeople. If Ding Jiayi tagged along, she could simply get Ding Jiayi to handle everything.

Sure enough, with Ding Jiayi by her side, the other party’s att.i.tude changed immediately the moment she realized that they were trying to get a refund. That salesperson was no match for Ding Jiayi at all. Besides, she knew that her reputation as a businesswoman would matter much more in the long run and that her service att.i.tude left an important impression on her customers.

With no other choice, the salesperson could only help them go through with their refund.

As expected, Ding Jiayi was overjoyed that they had managed to retrieve their money after returning the clothes. Although she had saved her money, Qiao Zijin did not feel so good. “Mom, Qiao Nan is already six months pregnant. Do you think I will make it in time to let Qiao Nan understand how good I am and make her agree to let me marry Zhai Sheng before she gives birth and dies?”
