 protect herself. Chiba paled in fright. I lashed my whip

e caught

with his hand

. Although his palm sizzled and smoked, he didn’t let 

go of it and pulled 

the whip. 

Chuyi came

 and raised 

his sharp sword

 Jade Fang flew to dodge his attack.

into a big fox

, clawing at
