“I understand.” Huo Mian bit her lip. If it weren’t for the wrong timing, she really wanted to let her mother-in-law know that she was pregnant again. She wondered how happy her in-laws would be when they found out.

After eating breakfast, Huo Mian organized the twins’ closet and took her daughters out to play.

“Mommy, how come you’re in such a good mood today?” Little Bean asked while sitting in the backseat.

There wasn’t enough room in the sports car, so Huo Mian picked out an Audi A8L from the garage. The car was black in color; it looked low-key, but luxurious nonetheless.

The twins looked especially cute in their little red plaid capes with a black skirt and a pair of red boots.

“Mommy has the day off today. It’s been a while since I took you girls out.”

“So, Mommy, where are we going now?” Pudding asked while focusing on the tablet in her hands.

“What are you guys thinking?” Huo Mian asked as she drove out of the driveway.

“Can we go to Imperial Star??” Little Bean suggested with excitement.

“Why don’t you just say you want to go find Uncle Su?” Huo Mian couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Yeah, Handsome Su’s been so busy recently, he doesn’t talk or come and find us anymore! I wonder if it’s because he is busy with girls…” Little Bean propped her little head up with both fists under her chin.

“Haha, don’t gossip.” Huo Mian smiled.

“According to what I know about Handsome Su, he wouldn’t,” Pudding answered without looking up from her tablet. “Why?”

“Not telling you. Think about it yourself, pig head.” Pudding glanced at her little sis.

“Mommy, look! Big Sis is calling me a pig head again!” Little Bean snitched.

“So why can’t you be a little smarter?” Huo Mian joked.

“Then I have to put the blame on you. Why didn’t you make me a little smarter?”

“So, it’s my fault??” Huo Mian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“All jokes aside, Mommy, can we go to Imperial Star? Can we?? I miss Handsome Su,” Little Bean said.

“Do you miss Handsome Su, or do you miss him paying for Haagen Daz ice cream?” Huo Mian asked.

“Ahahaha, you guessed it, Mommy, you’re so clever!” Little Bean giggled, leaving Huo Mian speechless.

“Mommy, forget the foodie, let’s go to Nan Tian Hot Spring,” Pudding said.

“Nooo, I want to go to Imperial Star! I don’t want to go to the hot spring.”
