The bright lights lit in the case showed off the beauty of the trophies and his grandfather's face glistened like a thousand volt bulb with pride.

He opened the cabinet and took out a gla.s.s trophy and asked while caressing it gently with his fingers "Is it this year's actor of the year award ?" and Abhi nodded with a satisfactory smile on his face.

His grandpa had a wide smile and Abhi knew why his grandfather was happy. His grandpa's wish was to become a great actor and he worked very hard for it. But he couldn't continue in the industry because he couldn't deal with the filth in there.

Old man asked "Did you sign any projects yet other than the one on which you are working right now ?"

Abhi nodded and said "Yeh, I like two scripts and we are in between discussions. Once we complete the story narration and other things I might sign one of them".

Old man asked "Any endors.e.m.e.nt projects ?" and Abhi said "I signed two projects and the shooting is yet to be done. Maybe in the first week of May.

But a very famous company approached me saying they wanted to sign me as the brand amba.s.sador for their goods and I think it's a perfect deal but I wanted to take some time to think over it."

Old man asked with curiosity and disappointment "Brand amba.s.sador? what do they sell ?" and Abhi repleidd non chalantly "Wrist watches I guess".

Old man asked "Why take up endors.e.m.e.nts Abhi. It's not like we lack money". and Abhi replied "It's not for money grandpa. It's to stay close to fans."

He explained "Grandpa, it's not like you don't know anything. Before an actor used to do as many films as he could in a year but now we hardly manage to complete one in the whole year.

Though I somehow manage to finish three or atleast two in a year, it's still not sufficient. People will forget us if they don't see us often.

Advertis.e.m.e.nts are a perfect strategy to stay close to them all round the year and we have to remember not all people go to theatres to watch movies and it will give us a perfect chance to stay close to those people especially to the women who stay at home and elderly.

It also have another advantage. Not all people understand Hindi in our country especially in the south they have got their own languges and their own stars.

But these advertis.e.m.e.nts will be dubbed into all the languges and are broadcasted all over the country." and the old man just nodded in acknowledgement.

Elder Malhotra thought for a moment "But you will be tired. You even have to work for the company and I am sure you must be tired with all these things".

Abhi shook his head "No grandpa. Yash and Rahul are taking care of anything. They are doing great at their work and I am sure you are proud of them both".

Old man said proudly "Of course, I am proud of my grandsons." But his face fell "But I really don't want you to over work yourselves".

Abhi closed the file in his hands and said looking at his grandfather "No grandpa, There are many people here. You know how well Uday is at managing things, though he is on leave for a while, he will bounce back to work and right now Rajesh is of great help".

Old man didn't give up saying "I sometimes imagine you practically staying in this study all night" and Abhi said with a smile "No way grandpa. Shri still gets nightmares once in a while and I don't dare to leave her even for a moment, so rest a.s.sured".

Old man smiled and said with relief "That's better. Even if you get some sleep for this reason. But I am sure you must be working in your room once she falls asleep."

Abhi smiled and didn't say anthing further as he know what his grandpa was saying was not entirely wrong.

Grandpa walked to the other end of the room where there's another big gla.s.s cupboard on which there are different pictures of Abhi taken at various events and also his family members pictures.

Abhi opened the file again and started going through it and the Old man asked "Why are you investing money in other companies and I heard you also ventured into some new business".

Just then the doors to the room opened and Shriya walked inside with her ruffled hair and in her shorts with a shrug over her shoulders.

She saw Abhi on the sofa with a file in his hands but she didn't see the other person in the room whi was looking at her with a smile.
