Chapter 911 - The Lowest Of The Low

Chapter 911: The Lowest Of The Low

Jiang Mingyue apologized sincerely. No matter how angry people might get, it was only natural for them to ease up in such situations.

Liu Qian looked at Jiang Mingyue. In reality, it was common for people to have differing opinions in research, so he simply sighed and waved his hand. Just as he was about to let it go, Huo Yao interrupted him.

“My bad. I shouldn’t have said that.” Huo Yao leaned against the edge of the table languidly as she sighed gently.

The moment everyone heard this, everyone automatically thought Huo Yao felt embarrassed by herself and was about to apologize, including Jiang Mingyue.

Jiang Mingyue pursed her lips as she pondered. Wasn’t Huo Yao very full of herself when she commented on the revised experiment plan?

Did she want to apologize now?

It was too late. She did not care about forgiving someone as stupid as Huo Yao.

Jiang Mingyue was thinking to herself smugly when she heard Huo Yao’s laughter.

“If trash came with grades, then your experiment plan is…” Huo Yao crossed her arms and smiled as she said airily, “…the lowest of the low.”

The lowest of the low?

Jiang Mingyue opened her eyes wide. She could not believe what she had just heard. How could she call their experiment plan trash?

Was Huo Yao crazy?

Even though the atmosphere had finally eased up, it quickly became utterly cold.

Jiang Mingyue laughed angrily. She walked up in front of Huo Yao and raised the experiment plan in mid-air as she pointed at Huo Yao’s face with it and said, “How dare you say that? How can you be so cocky?”

It was the first time someone pointed to Huo Yao’s nose as she spoke.

Huo Yao tilted her head and looked at Jiang Mingyue solemnly. “You don’t even know how to calculate the molecular variant using integration factor. How could this be a worthy experiment plan?”

Jiang Mingyue found it even more hilarious when Huo Yao brought up the integration factor. “You are just an Arts student. Are you talking to me about the integration factor? Are you sure you want to show off about it?”

The moment Huo Yao heard what Jiang Mingyue said, she looked at Jiang Mingyue strangely. “Isn’t this Math? Isn’t Math a compulsory subject? Does it have anything to do with my course?”

Jiang Mingyue instantly realized that Huo Yao was right and blushed. Even though her hand was still in mid-air, it looked a little awkward now.

A long while later, Jiang Mingyue bit her lip and said, “Since you claim that I don’t understand integration factor, does this mean you are an expert? Do you even know what second year integration factor equations look like?”

Huo Yao nodded. “Uh huh. In fact, I do! The steps in the experiment are too long-winded and messy. Even though a DNA model can be rendered, it will never pass comparative testing.”

Jiang Mingyue had already gotten the basics wrong. How could she study gene variation from this?

Huo Yao pursed her lips.

Jiang Mingyue sneered coldly when she heard what Huo Yao said. “If the simulation is a success, why would the comparative testing fail?”

Did Huo Yao think she was good simply because she was good at Math?

Huo Yao shrugged and looked at the computer. “In that case, why don’t you try?”

“If I manage to succeed, are you going to apologize to my team?” Jiang Mingyue did not feel intimidated by Huo Yao simply because Huo Yao knew some Math. Instead, she was even more certain that Huo Yao was just showing off.

She had to defeat Huo Yao and remind her she was in Tsing University and not middle school.

Every single person on campus was an elite student. Huo Yao had to stop swaggering around as though she was a genius.
