Li Chuntao shook her head and continued her daily tasks, putting aside how she could utilize Shen Zichen's sudden move to torment Mu Jianyu. Ah, her lover would be living just next door. How would he be able to ignore it? 

Three days later and it was already Monday. With Mu Jianyu returning at work, Li Chuntao was left in his apartment with Yu Luo, who was now busy installing cameras secretly. 

It was past ten in the morning and Li Chuntao's attention was glued on one of the short stories her twin sister had written years ago. In her spare time, Li Xiuying didn't only take up painting as a hobby, she was also a decent author of storybooks for children and occasionally wrote books for young adults under a pseudonym. 

She had just flipped another page of the book when she received a message from Shen Zichen. Picking it up to read his messages, her brows shot up hitting her fringe. 

"Moving in today. Missing my wifey. Where's my welcome home greeting?" He said. 

Li Chuntao rolled her eyes, stood up from the floor, and informed Yu Luo where she was going. As soon as she stepped outside, her eyes were greeted by busy movers bringing different types of furniture into the apartment unit next to Mu Jianyu's. 

"Please be careful not to break those flower pots." Shen Zichen's voice reached her ears and she saw him standing behind his door, holding Chun Chun in his arms, petting her head. 

"Ah, Miss Li." He greeted her politely as if they were not acquainted with each other. He was wearing casual attire while she was wearing Ying's home clothes. "Good morning. I'll be your new neighbor. Please be good to me." 

Li Chuntao didn't miss the subtle teasing on his voice. 

"Doctor Shen," she gave her a curt nod and stepped aside to give way to the movers carrying Shen Zichen's household furniture. 

"Please Miss Li, join me inside and help me decorate my place. I'm pretty sure your suggestions will help me to finish the task sooner." Shen Zichen led her inside his apartment unit and she wasn't surprised at how bigger it was compared to Mu Jianyu's unit. 

While it should be considered that the twenty-second floor of the apartment building was considered as one of the prime spots, the units were differentiated by each of its sizes and amenities. 

The inside of Shen Zichen's unit was humongous, and Chun Chun instantly liked the vast s.p.a.ce where she could play around without knocking into his ornaments. It also had a huge kitchen with several counter s.p.a.ces for him to use. Li Chuntao knew that he was a good cook considering he had a popular chef and restaurateur as his mother. 

The bedroom was a decent size and a dresser was already installed inside next to the attached bathroom. The air conditioner and the new stove were already installed, so Shen Zichen only had to decorate his place with the few things he brought with him. 

"So how did you manage to get this place? I thought it was occupied a few weeks ago?" Li Chuntao voiced her curiosity. 

"Qingqing helped me with it. The old tenants were planning to move away anyway, so they willingly accepted the offer she presented."

Li Chuntao wanted to berate herself. Of course, the Shen family had always been in the real estate business. They expanded into restaurant chains when his mother married into the family. 

It didn't take too long before the movers finally finished everything, leaving several boxes in the living area for Shen Zichen to organize later. After paying the movers, he left Chun Chun in the living area and brought up the box marked with kitchen tools from the pile. 

Li Chuntao followed him to the kitchen and helped him sort out the silverware while he put away the pots and pans in the drawers and cabinets. She was wiping the spoons dry after was.h.i.+ng them at the sink when she felt him behind her. 

"He's not home?" He asked, pertaining to Mu Jianyu. 

"He's at work," she responded. And faced him. 

"Ah.. then that's good. I can have you all to myself today," He leaned down his head and whispered against her lips. 

Li Chuntao closed her eyes and hummed, before feeling his lips pressed against hers. It was slow and soft at first, before she opened her mouth wider, sliding her tongue into his mouth, coaxing him to deepen their kiss, to which he easily complied. 

She pulled out from him when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Shen Zichen released her and continued what he was doing before their kiss. Li Chuntao checked her phone only to see Mu Jianyu's message reminding her not to skip lunch. 

"Speaking of the devil," she muttered to herself but was enough for Shen Zichen to hear. She decided to finish drying the silverware and ignored Mu Jianyu's message. Let him wait. Wasn't this what he'd done to Ying when he wasted his time with Lin Meirong? 

For the second time, she felt Shen Zichen's presence behind her, with his hands now at the hem of her s.h.i.+rt, they then slipped underneath it to feel her skin and unclasp the hooks in front of her bra with slight difficulty. 

"Zichen…" Her voice came out as a whisper. Her breath became shaky with need as she tried to fight the mewls that were threatening to leave her lips and he thumbed her nipples and started to knead her b.r.e.a.s.t.s beneath her s.h.i.+rt. 

Li Chuntao leaned back against him and bent her neck to the side allowing him to lean down to pepper light kisses on her neck and shoulder. He should be careful not to leave a mark on her exposed skin. It was too early for Mu Jianyu to be suspicious about their affair. 

His hands moved smoothly over her breast this time. Rubbing and molding her soft globes in his rough hands, eliciting a low moan from his lover. Sighing his name, Li Chuntao felt his growing erection pressed against her backside while his fingers took a liking to teasing her erect nipples. 

"Chuntao, you've already denied me for so long." Shen Zichen's voice came with a hoa.r.s.e. It had been over a month since the first time they became intimate with each other and they weren't able to do the deed, even though Shen Zichen was prepared for it. 

The condoms he bought sat there in his nightstand and he felt being ridiculous for thinking of buying them. He might have bought every brand and style that even came in different sizes and bought lubricants just to make sure nothing would ruin his chance to be with Chuntao on their next encounter. 

However, he didn't expect that whenever he tried being intimate with her, there was always a kind of disturbance that happened midway, stopping the two of them. 

Li Chuntao let out a low chuckle and released herself from his hold. 

"Doctor Shen, I suggest you lock the door and turn off your phone. Because today, I'm not sharing you with anyone," she whispered seductively in his ear.
