Chapter 25: Never Had Before

Then he asked her gently and softly.

“What's wrong?”

“You smelled.” Ye frowned, “The smell of smoke in your mouth.”

He chuckled, with his thin lips bent into a beautiful shape of crescent moon, emitting indescribable charm under the dappled light.

“Then I'll go was.h.i.+ng my mouth?”

Ye thought he was just joking. He was obviously the attacker; how would an attacker listen to the demands of his prisoners?

But out of her expectation, he really got up to gargle while she remained silent.

With a snap of his fingers, the light in the living room came on again.

The living room was empty again, leaving her alone.

Soon it was empty in the living room, with only Ye sitting on the couch.

She felt her body sticky and sweaty now after just now.

She even had his smell of smoke left in her mouth, too.

She turned around, seeing her own dark shadow in the big full-length window.

She looked at herself as if looking at that kind of women – who sold out their own body and soul for profits.

She used to despise them the most.

She felt herself dirty, but when she thought of the fact that she didn't truly repel him when he leaned over just now, she couldn't look at herself in the face.

She stood up and walked towards the bathroom, just wanting to take a good shower and wash those dirty things off her body.

She was in such a hurry that she even forgot that Mu was gargling inside.

The warm light was on and Mu was coming out.

She just b.u.mped into his arms.

“What's wrong?”

Ye felt the warmth in his arms.

Flushed, she could not say a word.

The girl's nervousness and fear were completely imprinted in Mu's heart.

He could sense that she didn't resist his kiss just now, so he wanted to go one step further.

But now it seemed that she was still scared.

He didn't want to force her. There was still a long time to come, and he had plenty of time to make him indispensable to her.

Mu was even startled by himself for thinking in this way. He did not know from when he had been so patient with the girl and really willing to spend time on her.

It felt subtle when he was with her.

Though knowing he was taking advantage of her and that would hurt her, he just couldn't let her go.

Getting no answer from her, Mu picked her up and walked upstairs to the bedroom.

The flannel nightgown he wore rubbed against her skin and itched.

It was dark in her bedroom, but he didn't turn the light on. Seemingly used to the darkness, he went straight to the bedside and laid her down.

Only faint moonlight s.h.i.+ned into the room, sprinkling on his delicate and handsome face.

His pair of eyes, which reflected normally coldness, now seemed filling a lake of tenderness and stirred her up.

He leaned gently over and left a kiss on her fine lips.

“Does this taste all right?”

He seemed to be truly asking for her opinion.

Ye was a little stunned.

She began to feel that she was in fact not that humble and useless in front of this tyrant.

Interestingly, she really moved her lips, as if in taste.

It was a light smell of fresh mint. She felt warmed up by the smell and his snug breath that came with it.

Ye nodded subconsciously. It was really irresistible for her.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, covered the quilt for her and told her, “Have a good rest and a nice sleep.”

With his crisp voice echoing in the stillness of the night, Ye rolled her eyes wide open. When he turned around, a sudden surge of disappointment welled up in her heart.

She seemed to have forgotten all of dignity, senses, ethics and morality …

She just didn't want to be left alone in the room as in the old house, wrapped in total fear and helplessness.

When Mu looked around and saw her little hand pulling at the corner of his gown, his heart melted.

He felt a sense of satisfaction that he never had before.
