Chapter 1

Looking at someone in the mirror to see a foggy dream, a cute little nose, and moist lips as soft as cherry blossom petals.

Lian Hua* silently stood in front of the sink, silently maintained standing like an idiot, and silently looked at the person in the mirror. In fact, he stood there like a fool for half an hour. His neck was stiff, so he slightly turned his head. The young man in the mirror also turned his head. Lian Hua blinked and the person in the mirror blinked with him.

*Lian Hua’s name sounds like lotus but is written with different characters.

Therefore, Lian Hua lifted a hand and covered his face, not having the heart to look straight. He vomited blood in his heart, fudge, the person in the mirror definitely wasn’t him!

Looking in the mirror made him feel as if everything was a dream. A cute little nose, a small mouth, lips as thin as cherry blossom petals, soft short black hair reaching his ears, that hand, that oval face, that white skin, that skinny waist.

Why is this appearance so effeminate? Where’s his spiky hedgehog hair, his healthy barley skin, his masculine chiseled face, and most importantly, his abdomen with eight packs, aaaaaaaaaa, eight packs, eight packs, do you understand!? A man’s dignity!

Wait, wait, Lian Hua suddenly felt stupefied, could it be? He hastily reached his hand towards his lower body and groped for a while, then sighed. He used the back of his hand to wipe away the cold sweat that just formed and couldn’t help but let out an exclamation of relief. Luckily he was still a man, if he was a woman, he would just die to get it over with.

As to how Lian Hua got to this place, thinking about it gave off the impression of a face dripping with blood, that’s right, it was a face dripping with blood! Lian Hua was brought here by something that fell from the heavens. He was just pa.s.sing by a residential building when some unruly person on the upper floor threw down a novel. Therefore, the pa.s.serby Lian Hua immediately met disaster and came here with a face dripping with blood. He vaguely remembered that the t.i.tle of that book seemed to be “apocalypse” something, Lian Hua couldn’t see well.

He didn’t know who this unfortunate body he stole belonged to, so Lian Hua decided to patiently wait and see.

“Bai Lianhua*! How long are you going to hog the WC? I can’t hold it anymore! Hurry up and get out!”

*Surname means white, therefore his name sounds like “White Lotus”.

The sound of screaming and yelling came from outside the door, immediately waking Lian Hua from his stupor.

“Get out here!”

The corner of Lian Hua’s mouth twitched slightly, dammit, your hoa.r.s.e voice is really pleasing to the ears! But he quickly adjusted his expression and used effort to suppress his face from distorting, then opened the door.

“Rascal, did you fall in the toilet bowl? I’ve waited for you for half a day!”

Not waiting for Lian Hua to leave, this person unzipped their pants and started to spray into the toilet bowl.

“Ahh, so comfortable.”

Lian Hua looked at the youngster with bleach blond hair in an “emo*” hairstyle, two earlobes pierced with glittering earrings, and a wild uninhibited action, and couldn’t hold back the corner of his lip from trembling.

*Literally dead horse.

But it was due to this youngster that the memory of the original body partially filled his head. This youngster is named Zhou Jing, the original body’s roommate, which means right now he’s still a student.

Wait, wait, what did Zhou Jing call him just now? Bai Lianhua? Bai Lianhua? Why does this name sound so familiar? And the name Zhou Jing sounds familiar too, here did he hear it?

Wait, wait, Lian Hua froze, it can’t be what he’s thinking, right?

“Bai Lianhua, what’s wrong with you? Dizzy?”

A hand appeared in front of Lian Hua’s face, and even waved. Zhou Jing had zipped his pants, saw Lian Hua standing there dumbly and had to call him a few times.

“You’re cousin’s about to get here, you don’t intend to prepare anything? Aren’t you going to change clothes?”

“Cousin?”

Lian Hua recovered his mental state but needed to determine what was going on.

“That’s right, your cousin Bai Yi!”

The two words Bai Yi were like a bolt from the blue, causing Lian Hua to become absentminded and dizzy. It turns out he really did transmigrate into book. That’s right, a book, moreover a zombie apocalypse BL novel.

But the body Lian Hua is using right now is a s.h.i.+ning white lotus in the story.

In the story it was written thus: He had a pair of eyes like mist and dreams, clear and transparent, flooded with water vapor, as if they were always full of tears, arousing pity in others; he had a pair of lips as soft as cherry blossom petals, pink and moist, people can’t help but want to taste their fragrance; he had snow white skin, even more s.h.i.+ny and beautiful than jade; he had a voice that could move people’s hearts, giving people the feeling of a tree basking in a spring breeze; he was gentle, kind, delicate, weak, he was a ray of suns.h.i.+ne, a rainbow, a light rain, a angel lost in the human world!

Angel my a.s.s, more like an-s.h.i.+t, Lian Hua couldn’t help but violently curse in his heart before he stood up. Dammit, Bai Lianhua is actually a lotus coated in poison!

He came onto his cousin Bai Yi, who had already been with their boyfriend for many years, he abruptly came in between them and became a mistress, even saying he would accept hards.h.i.+p and give them their blessing, wouldn’t cause trouble for his cousin, and didn’t need any acknowledgement, only wanting to stay by his cousin’s side.

A third wheel is a third wheel, why are you faking?

After the apocalypse came, he immediately ran off with his cousin, that guy’s boyfriend even saw him as a blood related sibling and took care of him. Aside from leading his cousin on, he also schemed to separate the feelings of the troops.

If that was the end of the story, that would be great. However, the thing that hurt Lian Hua the most was that — the story’s name was

!

That’s right, it was a novel about rebirth in the apocalypse to get revenge! ~T_T~ It wrote about a little shou, after being harmed to death by the unfaithful cannon fodder gong and Bai Lianhua, held on to his grudge and reincarnated, kicked out the unfaithful man and tragically killed the mistress. After that, he hugged his huge golden finger, brought along a faithful gong and lived a new, beautiful, happy life.

T^T Bai Lianhua was the mistress who died tragically -_-///!!! He really wanted to scream his lungs out: Too tragic! Really too tragic!

Lian Hua became a mess in the wind! Does it have to be so harsh? He remember that year when he read this light novel, every time he saw pig foot* abuse a cannon fodder, he couldn’t stop himself from submitting a comment to the author, telling the author the more abuse, the better! A ha ha ha ha hic sob sob sob sob, especially the comment saying you definitely can’t let the cannon fodder Bai Lianhua die immediately, but have to slowly, patiently, make him fall bit by bit into helplessness and suffering, finally dying a horrible death.

*This is his nickname for the main character of the novel he was reading.

Lian Hua covered his face in anguish, if he had known this would happen, he would have begged the author to gift him a less painful death. This stupid hand, this stupid hand!

“Heeeey! Bai Lianhua, are you sick? Do you need to drink medicine?”

Zhou Jing couldn’t hold it in and stood up worriedly. He felt that right now Bai Lianhua was very abnormal. He rubbed Lian Hua’s forehead, but there wasn’t a fever.

Lian Hua pushed Shao Jing’s hand away, throwing him a condescending look. It looked like he was sulking, but it wasn’t really didn’t suit his image. Zhou Jing felt even more curious, there was a time Bai Lianhua wouldn’t keep his image in mind? Usually he’s a cla.s.sic beauty* who wouldn’t change even in a hundred years.

*This term is usually used for women. It’s supposed to mean someone gentle and kind.

“What day is today?” Lian Hua asked.

“November 22!”

“Year?”

“2012!”

In his heart Lian Hua understood clearly, this is one month before the apocalypse! It’s also the day pig foot was reborn in the story.

Lian Hua looked at Zhao Jing, his heart feeling complicated because Zhao Jing was also a cannon fodder, in fact he didn’t know whether Zhao Jing was a cannon fodder gong or a cannon fodder shou, simply a cannon fodder pa.s.sing by!

The Zhao clan in the capital was the clan standing at rank two. Although compared with the top clan, they weren’t as good, but compared to normal people, they were much better off.

Zhao Jing could be seen as Bai Lianhua’s only real friend. Zhao Jing wasn’t a good person, Bai Lianhua even more so, but birds of a feather flock together and they became friends. Zhao Jing’s position in the Zhao clan wasn’t high, similar to Bai Lianhua’s position in the Bai clan. Zhao Jing’s mother was his father’s mistress and Bai Lianhua’s parents died in an accident. Afterward he was adopted by Bai Yi’s uncle as a son. Who knew that Bai Yi’s uncle would also die early, leaving this world when Bai Lianhua was only five years old. As such, Bai Lianhua’s position in the Bai clan became even more complicated.

Luckily, from youth Bai Lianhua was especially easy on the eyes, had a gentle disposition, and had a sweet talking mouth, making it easy for people to like him. The Bai clan saw that he was harmless and and pitiful, wouldn’t bring trouble to them, so they felt a bit softhearted, therefore he was able to safely grow up. However, it was these living conditions that caused Bai Lianhua’s character to become like this. However, the Bai clan was the top clan. How could normal people possibly live a good life there? Therefore this white lotus also wasn’t as simple as he seemed. His outside appearance looked gentle, but his gentle characteristics were already completely swallowed eight hundred years ago by the torture of the Bai clan! You should know a part of the Bai clan fortune was under Bai Lianhua’s jurisdiction, and clutched tightly in his hands.

It was written clearly in the story that before Bai Lianhua died, Zhao Jing was a step faster in reaching heaven. Apparently, because Zhao Jing’s mom wasn’t living well in the capital, before Zhao Jing could even return, his mother died and seemed to have some kind of relations.h.i.+p with Zhao Jing’s older brother. Afterward Zhao Jing met his brother and died in some ambiguous manner, basically he left with a lot of resentment! Ling Hua couldn’t really remember well, anyway it was really tragic -_-///.

“Tell auntie to stay home and prepare a lot of food and water, change the windows, make them st.u.r.dier. Oh and, this month don’t go outside. Aside from you, don’t let any strangers in.”

“Huh?” Zhao Jing obviously didn’t understand “Why? Will something big happen?”

“I told you to say it, so say it. Why are you spouting nonsense?”

Lian Hua was a bit impatient, the capital was the capital of the country, and also the most powerful force in the country. Later a base was established in the capital, you could say it was the safest place in the country. If Zhao Jing and his mother were there, although they’d have to live uncomfortably with the Zhao clan, at least it would be safer than being outside. Telling Zhao Jing’s mom to h.o.a.rd a lot of food items was also life insurance. He didn’t know how she died in the story, but this was the most Lian Hua could do.

Zhao Jing saw Lian Hua suddenly become angry and pouted, however he still grabbed his cell phone and went out to the balcony to place a call.

“So weird, today Xiao* Lianhua was really rude, so unlike a cla.s.sical beauty!” Zhao Jing mumbled.

*Xiao mean little and it’s a prefix you put in front of someone’s name affectionately.

All the veins on Lian Hua’s forehead twitched, he really wanted to hit someone!

However the Zhao Jing in front of him wasn’t a problem, his cousin Bai Yi was the problem. It seems the day Bai Lianhua was intimate with Bai Yi was also today. However, right now Lian Hua has changed. He didn’t have the capability to be intimate, finding goods was the real objective.

Bai Lianhua and Zhao Jing’s residence was a two room apartment, the inside was very luxurious, who said the Bai clan and the Zhao clan didn’t have money?

He relied on his memory and opened Bai Lianhua’s dresser, and couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his lips again. Inside there was only white, white dress s.h.i.+rts, white pants, white socks, white shoes, all the underwear was blindingly white! Just how much did Bai Lianhua like white! Of course, there were also a complete set of women’s cosmetics, skin care products! Towards a man, liking this kind of stuff was way too abnormal!

Lian Hua ransacked the place for a while and found a set of clothes to his liking, as well as a watch. As for the make up, he didn’t bother to look at them. A man like him going out and wanting to use make up? Does anyone do that normally?

He went to the WC again to look in the mirror, why does he still look so effeminate?

Lian Hua thought for a moment and went to Zhao Jing’s room, and opened a drawer. As expected, there were a variety of gla.s.ses. Zhao Jing usually used sungla.s.ses to look cool. Lian Hua chose a pair of gold rimmed sun gla.s.ses without prescription. Hm, wearing it really made him look more mature, at least he didn’t look like a fifteen or sixteen year old anymore. You should know right now Bai Lianhua is eighteen years old, ok? He’s too small, what kind of appearance is this?

Translator’s Notes:

Note that the original body’s surname is Bai and his given name is Lianhua while our hapless main character’s full name is Lian Hua with Lian being his last name. This will come up later… in like one line twenty chapters later. The characters for Lianhua/Lian Hua are the same though.

Will you guys believe me if I tell you our MC is the top? He uses a lot of slang. The emoticons were in the Vietnamese version but I found them hilarious so I kept them in.

There are a lot of reasons why I translate the way I do. I WANT to translate as much as I can because we aren’t here to learn Chinese, but some of these things just sound better in Chinese, such as the prefix “Xiao”. I don’t really want to call a full grown man “Little So and So” down the road.

Holy h.e.l.l this chapter was so long. I believe the next chapter is also long fml. I don’t know how to use foot notes lol help. I appreciate any comments. I didn’t do any proofreading lol…
