622 [Undying Regeneration]

I hold out the left side of my body covered by the [Woven Armour] roots as a shield as I fly towards the origin matter.

The final stage of our plan is for me to use treant as a shield in an all-out attack. As long as hes not in his tree spirit form, he can survive a hit from [Dark Ray].

Theres also a certain skill that he needs to use here.

Normal Skill [Undying Regeneration]

Explosively boosts the users vitality.

When used, the users body is covered by blue moss, and their HP is forcibly recovered until their MP hits 1%.

The users defence is greatly raised, but the other stats are halved.

Right, this was the reason we waited to use [Woven Armour]. In exchange for halving his other stats, [Undying Regeneration] boosts his defence and recovery. Critically, it keeps going until his MP runs out.

Its only until it wears off, but Im able to press the attack now. I need to swiftly bring this fight to a close. Treant should be tough enough now to take several hits of [Dark Ray], as long as theyre adequately spaced out.

His role isnt limited to defence though.

I cut the origin matters body with [Dimension Claw] as I charge towards it, carving through it once, and then a second time.

Ill end it quickly!

Hollow lines appear where my claws carve through its surface, but they quickly close. Still, looking at its status, its MP has fallen quite a bit.

I hold my left shoulder out towards a beam of darkness as it shoots towards me.

At his current level 91, he has 4408 HP and 2011 defence, placing him about equal to me, despite me being Legendary rank. In addition, he has a bunch of skills that help when hes attacked. His defence while in [Undying Regeneration] is even higher, and should surpass my own.

The [Dark Ray] bores into him.

Treant replies, slightly apprehensively. But, his true power is in whats about to come.

His woven body shines with light, and black beam shoots outs from his main body on my back.

The black beam of light curves through the air to slam into the origin matter. Its body shakes from the impact.

Characteristic Skill [Fairy Hex]

Whenever a direct magic attack is received, fairies living inside the tree will return the same kind of magic.

Irrespective of the users magical strength, the returned magic will be the same power as the received magic.

The magic produced by this skill has high directionality, and only targets the attacker.

Great, it worked! The origin matter essentially shot itself with its ownMagic: 4999[Dark Ray]. This did a lot. After all, its more than I could possibly do with my own magic.

I scratch it with two more [Dimension Claws]. Even though it didnt react to attacks at all before, its shaking with each hit now. It seems our attacks are having quite an effect. Its probably struggling to keep up with its healing.

The three Aros shoot an irregular barrage of [Dark Spheres]. Even though the origin matter seemed so unbeatable last time, were just one push away from killing it now.

I try holding up my left shoulder in a defensive posture, but then quickly turn the other way. A [Dimension Rend] cuts my body.

I fly in a circle around the origin matter, attacking it with [Dimension Claw] again. Being able to block attacks with my left side is reassuring. I can fight a lot more aggressively.

I manage to block another [Dark Ray] with treant. The [Fairy Hex] return fire smashes into the origin matter.

Its altitude drops. Its clearly reaching its limits.

The patterns on its surface change, shifting into a spiral. Black light spreads out from its body.

My flight stops middair as I feel myself being pulled back towards it.

Normal Skill [Black Hole]

A gravity magic that releases a mighty gravitational pull with the user as the centre.

Its the same skill it used before to restrict my actions.

The three Aros desperately hold onto me.
