Flying away from the origin matters immediate area, I avoid the burst of [Dark Rays]. The black rays of light brush past my tail.

I gulp. Power, accuracy, and rate of fire this broken skill has it all in spades.

However, worst of all is that contrary to how many its been firing off, the origin matters MP hasnt decreased much. Itll be too rash to take such a monster on.

The flow of the patterns on it changes again. I immediately begin to fly up.

A huge slash passes right below my feet. Its the origin matters [Dimension Rend].

Ive somehow managed to dodge this time, but its inevitable that Ill take a direct hit if this keeps up. In addition to spamming the high-powered [Dark Rays] around, its using [Dimension Rend] whenever I expose an opening. Its an incredibly unpleasant offensive to cope with.

The absolute worst is how it isnt even specialised in long-ranged attacks, but in endurance. Not only is its HP stupidly huge, its defence is far and away among the strongest Ive seen.

To defeat it, my only options are to either search for some method of attacking it unilaterally, or to take advantage of its relative inferiority in close combat and bulldoze it that way. Presently, it doesnt seem like Ill be able to find some way to attack it unilaterally. Even if I were to try pressing the attack, it still has a bunch of skills I havent seen, and my stats are inferior from the start, so it would be too disadvantageous for me.

Theres no reason to force a fight with the origin matter. Its speed is vastly inferior to mine. Its long-distance attacks are scary, but it doesnt change the fact that escaping is better than fighting in this case.

Ive been flying circles around the origin matter in order to be able to avoid the [Dark Rays], but the moment the barrage of black rays lets up momentarily, I break off, immediately heading to ground.

Origin matter, once I become stronger, Ill come back once more to free you from this forest.

I look behind. The origin matter fires off [Dark Rays] continuously as it pursues.

As expected, its not going to simply let us go!

I fly about up, down, left, right, slipping through the [Dark Rays]. My eyes glance downwards. The gigantic trees on the ground are mowed down by the black beams that fall among them.

This range is way too dangerous. The origin matter could possibly blow away our previous world all by itself. And, four existences even more dangerous than this have been sent there? I need to gain the strength to return as soon as possible.

However, its likely that a [Dark Ray] will eventually land a clean hit if I try to escape in a straight line. I change my trajectory diagonally and shake off the impending [Dark Rays].

I glance over my shoulder. Ive gained a decent amount of distance. The more distance I get, the more time I have to react and deal with the [Dark Rays], so the situation has already improved.

all right, things are looking good. Fortunately, the origin matters speed isnt that high. We should be able to make a clean getaway at this rate.

As I think that, the origin matters [Dark Ray] barrage suddenly cuts off. I wonder if perhaps its given up. With that naive thought, my eyes fall on the movements of the pattern on its surface, changing wildly again.

A black light expands outward from its centre. My flight comes to a halt. Im being pulled towards the origin matter. A tremendous gravitational pull is being emitted from it, as if cancelling any strength I have to move myself forward.

There was actually a version of [Gravity] that pulls things towards the user! Despite not having stats suited for a close-range fight, it owns such an outrageous skill! However, in exchange for the strong restraining power, it looks like the origin matter itself cant move while using it.

Aro and the treant are separated from my back. I hurriedly change my form to an [Ouroboros] with [Dragon Mirror] and flip around at the same time. Extending my necks with all my might, I catch them in separate mouths.

If its like this, I have no choice but to fight it out, huh. In exchange for drawing in the enemy, [Black Hole] should expose a weakness if anything else. It doesnt seem like it can move properly with the skill activated, and such a big skill is naturally bound to have a severe MP consumption rate.

In addition, even if the origin matter sucks me in close, it only has attacks like [Dark Ray] and [Dimension Rend]. I dont particularly see any dangerous-looking skills

Characteristic Skill [Dark Frozen Prison]

Draws the enemy into a swirl of black light and seals it.

The target is forsaken from the passage of time.

As time itself does not move within the black light, it is of course impossible for the target to even attempt to escape.

I-Its over if were drawn into it! I flip my body around and flap my wings hard.

Im successful in reducing the rate Im being pulled back, but Im already quite a bit closer to the origin matter. I reach a foreleg out behind and send off a [Dimension Claw].

My flight is thrown off and Im pulled towards it yet again. Meanwhile, the origin matter still looks lively even after receiving my claw attack. The light on its surface deteriorates slightly, but it quickly regenerates.

Putting up such a front! But Im pretty sure you wont be able to just walk off multiple of these!

To follow up I release two giant swings. Two deep wounds carve along the surface of the origin matter.

My posture breaks, and Im immediately pulled towards the origin matter. However, the surrounding black light extinguishes at that moment. It seems it has cancelled [Black Hole].

G-great, the [Black Hole] is powerful, but it isnt unbeatable. Its enough to fire off long-ranged attacks while resisting it.
