Chapter 2934 Mazla

Chapter 2934 Mazla

CLANNNNG!

I used my own sword to defend against the last fiery lance that came at me, which, again, sent me back by a few steps.

Though, this time, I did not vomit the steaming blood that I had done a couple of times in the past hour.

"You should have died!" It said, looking at me with burning hate; "You are not powerful enough to kill me," I said back, which angered it even more, but it did not let its anger control it.

"Then I will see how you survived it!" said Mazla, and its aura grew even more powerful, turning the s.p.a.ce around as hot as an inferno.

"Aekaem's Marionette!"

It shouted, and the flames swirling around it began to burn even brighter as it got dense that soon, even Fiery Lionman had disappeared into them.

Seconds after, tens of fiery strings came out of the fire, and they began to form something; the fire around the Mazla began to get thinner as something began to form in front of it through the strings.

It did not take long for the thing to stop; it turned out to be a copy of Mazla made of extremely dense fire; just looking at me made me want to run away.

BOOM!

"Now, I want to see how you can survive," said Mazla from behind fiery Mazla, and immediately, it leaped toward me with a speed that made my eyes widen in surprise and made me active all the ocular abilities that would aid me in fighting such an enemy.

It took less than a second to cross the mile as it appeared in front of me, and as it did, it swung that long lance at me.

Like it, its lance was fast, very fast; it was a good thing I had activated my ocular abilities, or I would never be able to catch its lance.

CLANNNNG!

I was able to move my sword against its lance on time, and they clashed; the moment they did, my eyes went wide, and I flew back like a broken rocket.

The fiery Mazla did want to give me any chances, as the moment it sent me back, it attacked again with that long lance.

With its range, it did not even need to move from its place; the lance is long enough to reach, and it did while I was in no condition to move my sword.

I had received a huge shock in my arms which were still shaking; I could move my hands to move in the condition it would be too risky.

Thankfully, I had not pulled back my string arms, and one of them, holding the white bone lance, moved toward the Grimm to clash against it.

CLANNNNG!

The bone lance clashed against the fiery lance, bending at an unnatural angle as it absorbed the force, but even its abilities were not enough to absorb it all.

The force was colossal; it came at me like a meteor, bringing a huge amount of fiery energy that crashed into my armor before seeping inside.

Barely a micro-second had pa.s.sed when it came at me again, this time taking a step toward me, appearing directly in front of me, and aiming its lance directly toward my heart.

I would not be able to move my lance in time to defend, but no worries, I have more than ten weapons to defend against it, and this time, I have used the halberd.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG

Its lance clashed again, sending me even greater speed, and attacked me again and again, not giving me even a single chance to relax.

I want to summon my s.h.i.+elds; with them, I would defend comfortably, but that option would be too easy, not to mention I would be under strain to do things I am right now.

So, despite the danger it could bring me, I continued fighting with it as it attacked me constantly, launchings thousands of attacks every second without getting slower, even for a moment; instead, its attacks were getting faster and stronger.

They were sending me back with each attack that would cause injuries to my internals, but as time pa.s.sed, those injuries began to lessen. As my clone made changes, which help manage its attacks better and also I got used to its swift and powerful attacks.

Nearly five minutes pa.s.sed, and we had clashed thousands of times; since the phantom appeared, there was not a single moment I got to rest.

Hun!

I was again sent back flying, but at much less momentum than I had been a few moments ago, when suddenly, my spear and long sword hands went south and north.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

Three of my weapons clashed against three fiery Mazla phantoms; the two new ones came at me invisibly before attacking me sneakily.

Puh Puh Puh???e????o???.??

Though I had defended the attack, it had not come without a cost; I felt my internals had been attacked by a couple of sledgehammers; it was a powerful blow that sent boiling blood and cooked pieces of internals out of my mouth one after another.

"Can you control three of them, Mazla?" I asked the Mazla, who was miles away from me.

"You can watch how I will kill you them, then," it replied confidently, and all three fiery Mazla's came at me from three directions.

The question was not really to mock it but a genuine question because it is not the only one who has such a move; I have one too, and I want to see how it controls them, to make it better than it is.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

My weapons clashed against all three Mazla's, roiling my internals even more than earlier, before attacking again without wasting any moment.

They are attacking hard and fast, but it is clear that the way they are attacking that their attacks are not as skillful as before, but with such power and speed, it could sacrifice some skills, especially against someone like me, who could barely defend against it.

I am getting increasingly injured every second; the force behind attacks is too powerful. My internals is getting damaged, and my strong healing power, which is second to Rai among the Grand Lord, isn't healing it fast enough.

Buzz!

Around forty seconds pa.s.sed since three fiery phantoms began attacking when I finally got relieved. Clone one had made the change, which in the armor, immediately reduced the power of the attack by a huge 80%.

It is shocking, but my clone had a simple way to deal with it; clas.h.i.+ng the physical energies against each other, immediately reducing their effects on me.

It is a simple method, but it requires complex work; it is not an automated process; the clone itself under command manages the force.

With the aid of formation, a lot of strain was relieved from me, and I was able truly to focus on the battle, which was going great.

Stressful but great.

I may be under a lot of pressure, but I am fighting against such a mighty enemy with centuries of experience. It is very hard, but I am doing it, and it is not the only thing I am doing, and Grimms will realize it soon.
