4 Chapter 4: Coach Olivia Mchale

"We should give him a chance, next season he can be the team captain of the Beavers and senior next year said by Coach Olivia still not wavering.

"Olivia, you have to know, this is because he really does not have enough strength to stand on our team. He is too thin and his physical condition is not good enough to run around the court for 20 times. I have seen his report and pa.s.sed it to the trainer. The trainer said was impossible for him to grow more muscles on his body" Basketball director Craig Heffernan said.

"This is a misunderstanding, Jayson has pa.s.sed 21st birthday and I haven't arranged him train much in strength and conditioning during freshman and soph.o.m.ore because his bones aren't yet developed. Believe me, training a good player needs patience, resources and time. He has potential to be a good player and let's keep his position in the team." said by Coach Olivia

"Olivia, we don't have enough positions and need to emphasize this again. We will soon welcome Jesse Shevin, Alex Runkel and Mike Edwards in the summer." Craig Heffernan said.

"At least until the summer, Jayson should continue to wear the Beavers team jersey, we have no valid reason to drive him out of the team." said by Coach Olivia

"I really don't know what you really liked this little boy and he has no worth at all" Craig Heffernan said.

Coach Olivia was too idle to converse with the Craig Heffernan so he stood up.

"I have to go and discuss the offensive strategy and defensive arrangement for Friday night, I don't want to miss huge opportunity to enter the top sixty-four again, rather than sit in front of TV to watch the NCAA game throughout March."

Coach Olivia stood up and went out. Craig Heffernan looked at Olivia's back; he can't help but sigh. He couldn't understand the enchanting quality of this Asian kid that Olivia helps her again and again. Isn't Olivia too naïve to think this kid can a second coming of Yao Ming but this isn't Houston?

Craig Heffernan felt headache because of Olivia's insistence. He's now doubt about another thing which, "I've has been arguing with the coach who has only coached for less than a season, is the coach still right this time?" Craig Heffernan said.

Since Coach Olivia took over the beaver team, the record hasn't been good and not entered the top 64 in the previous two seasons. The school official hasn't been satisfied with the performance of the school teams, especially the basketball team.

a.s.sist Coach Adam Levitt was also in the office and has been hinting more than once his desire to be the Head coach of the Beavers, he knows more than anyone else about basketball in the team.

"It's okay once but more than that is... or let Coach Olivia leave the team together with the kid? Craig Heffernan said.

Craig Heffernan thoughts were a mess coz it takes lot of consideration to dismiss the Head coach of a team and everyone knows who the grandfather of Olivia McHale. In California basketball circle, Lakers and Kevin McHale are huge existence no one would dare to offend. He invited Coach Olivia to the Beavers and the consideration for resources from the old coach.

Coach Olivia arrives in the stadium, he saw Jayson resting in the bench area and ma.s.saging his legs. When he saw this scene, he can't help be angry at him while still back in the office, he tries to defend for this kid but seeing him being lazy in the training hall.

He furiously walked over with a green and plan to let this kid run at 50 laps around the stadium.

As he about to reach Jayson, Matthew Della Torre suddenly appear in a flash.in front of him and look enthusiastically while blocking his way to the lazy kid.

"Coach, coach... I have great news for you" Matthew happily said.

Coach Olivia is upset with Jayson's behavior and doesn't have time to spare Matthew's thing for a moment. He set aside Matthew and yells loudly in front of resting Jayson.

"Jayson!!!" a loud voice that resonates throughout the training hall, while the poor Jayson was startled and fall from the bench.
